3 years... not too long yet not too short... Finally finished my degree and starting to get into the "Working Life". For 3 years, i had known many good friends, many good people, many things happen, some sad some bad and some to be happy about it. But... i starting to miss them...

Yet... Life still goes on. Stage 3 here I come. So about my future careers, i still haven't got a clue yet. I mean... I interviewed for some companies (some are good some are just ok...) but still none of them reply and offer me a job -_-" sigh... and I thought that my interviews went well and my CGPA still quite good. Hmm... some friends start getting jobs offering and interviews but me... just a clueless person hoping to get a job that he wish for.

Careers aside first, think of it after the perhentian graduation trip. Will be going perhentian island on 21st May. This trip maybe the last chance that i can have fun with the classmates one last time before everybody get separated. Underwater camera bought and ready to be use. Camera battery all charged up. Swim wear checked. Clothes not yet prepare cos still donno wan wear what... (hawaii style or naked style or macho man style.... hmm...) should i buy one day contact lens? cos i'm wearing glasses sigh... wine and beer not yet buy... argh... so many things to do. Be sure to have many pictures coming soon....

Wow... it's been another 4 months after my last grading on December last year. I didn't expect to be grade again next month for my 4th Kyu but i'm still lack of practice because of the assignment month on February.

Last Sunday, when Ramlan sensei asked me, "Are you ready for your grading next month?" I answered, "Osu sensei, I'm ready." I didn't even know how the words pop up from my head and answer it to sensei. After last sunday Aiki Open day at Seri Kembangan Hombu, I had my lunch with them and have some chit chat with the shudokan family, after that, sensei asked me to help him in the future time, i was stunned because i'm still not qualified enough to be instructor or helping him in an aikido business anywhere near future time, but i still willing to help him when he needs some help on demonstration or doing some events. After that, he also invited me to go for Bandung trip and visit Aikido Shudokan Indonesia after the August event finished, if i wanted to. I'm still not decided yet.

Let's leave them after i get my chocolate belt (3rd Kyu) first, it's still a long journey, now i need to get back on training and prepare to take the grading next month. Hmm.. Last grading before my graduation at UTAR, sounds a bit... anyway... donno how many ppl will be taking test with me leh? Hmm.. anyhow... i still will be all alone taking bus and go dojo to take my grading, and after grading, will be having the same trip again back to home and sleep.

I bought a new camera!!!

Hmm... actually the camera was bought around 2 months ago, but i have no time to update the blog because of the Assignment Month that i had in February, it's quite a headache period last month @_@

Anyway... i bought the camera when there is a Olympus booth held just ont the 1st floor (infront of a shoe selling shop) at Jusco Cheras Selatan. Didn't think about if there is a wholesale or digital fair in the future time, i decided to buy a camera because i wanted to buy a digital camera so long time already. After see here see there, pass by the booth for almost 10 times, worry about this worry about that... still i can't make any decision which one to choose. So, i picked the most near RM1000 and ask for the features, which is the Olympus Mju 820.

The Camera features some of the latest tech in digital camera, like face detection, smile detection... where if a person smile, it will automatically capture your picture, nice huh? not only that, it come with a 2.7 inch HyperCrystal LCD with it, this is the thing which attract me the most, who don love a camera with big LCD?

But anything comes with a bad side, the camera's flash is quite strong, in another word, it's too bright!!! the flash can makes a shadow that can exactly making the person that i shot have a shadow that can consider a mirage or someone is behind him/her. Although the camera has a feature that adjust the shadow when taking picture, it doesn't help a lot, the mirage will still noticeable. So, i need to use some photoshop tool in order to make the shadow disappear. Sigh...

Now you know what i mean -_-"

Anyhow... i still like the camera because of the other features. And will be taking more pictures when graduation trip to Pulau Perhentian comes. Looking forward to it!!! ^_^v

Wow... its already another year~ and Chinese New Year had arrived. I'll be posting up all the happenings during CNY in my hometown... and some story when i go back hometown after i back to Sg Long.

New Year Resolution~

I know it's too late for it~ But it still in January! =p

OK!!! Let's get it started. I've been away from the blog for so long until how long i've been away. cos Universities work & some house problems had been made me busy for 3 weeks. I think i'm going to be sick a few more days. Now i've already have flu and cough... later might get fever, headache, backache, and might get cancer too =) kakaka... just kidding, but i really start to sick.

back to the topic~ resolution! hmm... every year i made some target or things to do, but always forgot and i never really seriously think about a resolution. Maybe this year i will seriously make a resolution and give me something to do in this year. But, i still donno wanna make what resolution.

Some of the things i've already done. So, here goes the list : -

Get myself a copy of "Dynamic Aikido" (Done)
Get myself a standard Aikido gi
Get myself a digital camera
Finish my degree with CGPA 3.00, this one i still not sure (T_T)
Archive my Aikido "Brown Belt"
Get to the top of Mount Kinabalu
Get myself a nice job
Take pictures with every girl in my course
At least go for Clubbing once this year, i long time no go already
(still not yet complete... maybe..)

So, for the 1st month of the year, i only done 1 thing. I got the Dynamic Aikido yesterday with the price of RM68.90 at Border Times Square. It's an expensive price for a small book like this. But, the contents worth it. But still.... expensive... why local distributer no distribute this book!!!!!!!!!!! Aikido Rocks!!!!!

OK, nothing to say already. Wait for next time la...

My "Ah Na" and "Stroke"~

I would like to share one of my most difficult time that happen to me, which involves my "Ah Na", which means grandmother in Shang Hai language, and a decease call "Stroke".

Well... this happen around 5 months ago, which i just finished my Year 2 Semester 3 final exam, and me and my frens were planning to go some places to celebrate the semester break holiday. During around midnight, suddenly, my phone rang... and it's my dad, at that time, i was wondering that is my dad call me because need help on his business and work part-time with him, but it is not.

Dad: Mun?
Me: Yes dad, what's up?
Dad: "Ah Na" fainted.
Me: What?! What happen? Call the ambulance already?
Dad: We called, and now "Ah Na" is hospitalized.
Me: What happen?
Dad: Doctor says that "Ah Na" had a stroke...
Me: ..............
Dad: Can you back hurry?
Me: OK dad, tomorrow morning i'll be straight going to the hospital...

After the phone, i didn't sleep for the whole night, watching movies so that i won't think nonsense things. Once morning, i packed up some clothes, and drive my car rushes to the hospital. But, i reached the hospital too early, the visiting hours is still 3 hours away, and i just sat on a sofa there and wait for the time, at that time, i though a lot of question...

Will i able to eat her lovely dish again?
Will i able to jokes with her again?
Will i able to make her angry again?
Will i able to travel with her again?
Will i able to have dinner with her again?
.........
Will i able to see her again.....

After waiting for 2 hours, my 4th uncle arrived and we went up together although still not the time, just told the security that we were in emergency and we went up to the building.

Although its only several floors, it take a long time in my mind to reach it. Once reached, i walk with my cold legs along the corridor and towards the bed.First, i saw my aunt and my mom beside a bed and then i saw "Ah Na" lying emotionless on the bed. I didn't cry at the time, because i was too terrified and donno what to do. I ask my mom how is she, and when asking, i saw my mom's eyes already turned red, i knew that she's been crying for a long time. My mom says that "Ah Na" still not awake and doctors are coming to check later. Me and my uncle just standing there watching her.

Next day, in the afternoon, all family members arrived the hospital, to had a meeting with the doctor. The doctor says that from the X-ray report that they scanned yesterday, the damage to the brain is too destructive, and he said a sentence that we all stunned.

"We believed that she may not last for 3 days..."

We were all silenced, and my 2nd Uncle try to know why is he saying like that, and then he had some argue with the doctor. Myself... went to a resting room... just sit there doing nothing. Then, came in my "Lothia" (grandfather in shang hai language), he sat beside me, and started to drop tears... at that time, i can't hold my tears anymore, use my hand cover my eyes and secretly drop my tears with him.

Just before evening, we were trying to find a best place for "Ah Na" to rest rather than a Government Hospital. So, the whole family was searching a nice hospital with more good facilities. After a while, we found a hospital in Bangsar that had a vacancy. So, we called an ambulance and transfer "Ah Na" to there. I was on the ambulance alone with "Ah Na", watching her along the way because i scare i can't see her anymore longer than this...

After arriving to the Bangsar Pantai Hospital, and the doctor just need to do a routine check on "Ah Na" because it is a procedure. So, we waited outside and registering a room for her. Some of us went to have something to eat and drink, and at the time, i realized i didn't drink and eat for around 12 hours....

Waited for 2 hours, and a nurse lead us to a meeting room, and a doctor comes in explaining the condition of my "Ah Na". He said that what the doctor in the Government Hospital say just now was nonsense, "Ah Na" still have a chance. We were in shock. The Doctor says that they need to do a small surgery to release the stress on the brain by sucking the liquid thingy in the brain that been pressuring in "Ah Na" 's brain. Hell... we donno what the heck is he saying... Just safe "Ah Na" then it's fine for us... It was a miracle...

But after the surgery, we need to lend a machine call "Ventilizer" to help "Ah Na" to breath, and it cost about RM3000 per day!! but we didn't think long for it, because "Ah Na" is very important for the whole family. So, after the surgery, "Ah Na" had taken into ICU (Intensive Care Unit) to check on her progression. It was already past midnight, and we told "Lothia" to go home and get some sleep, and i was "ordered" to take him home. (Actually, i was already willing wanted to accompany him >_<)

From that day, i accompany my "Lothia", drive him to the hospital everyday and every night, have all the meals with him, sleep with him (same house la...not same room =p) and go anywhere that he want to go... although sometime at midnight i secretly sneak out to cybercafes to relax a while hehe...

But i know, deep down inside the heart, the most saddest person during the incident was "Lothia", i knew that he had been crying in the room before sleep.. i know how he felt, sleeping on the bed, while there is a missing person beside him, the person that accompanied him on the bed for almost 50 years. It is a very difficult thing for him to overcome....

It had been 12 days "Ah Na" went into ICU, and in these 12 days, one of it was "Ah Na" ' s birthday. A birthday should be a happy and enjoyable for the birthday person, but not for "Ah Na" this year, we were told that we can't have a celebrate inside the ICU, even while for a short time. So, the whole family just had some nice food to eat, and "Lothia" was ask to blow the candle on behalf of "Ah Na". But, it still not enjoyable enough without the actual person...

Everybody Works Together

So, "Ah Na" had been gained consciousness and recovering well but have a little fever and phlegm (痰， i know the English name for it during that time). So, she transfered to ward and rest. After another week, she was released from hospital.

The cost of the whole hospitalized progress had up to around RM60,000. That's a very very expensive price, and we didn't bought any insurance for the grandparents because the insurance installment fee for the older people is too high. Although the RM60,000 is a large amount of money, but it worth it. It brings the whole family together and work together, to help saving "Ah Na" 's life. Through out the whole progress, i've learned many things: -

Be with your family with lots more time because you donno when they will suddenly "gone"

Buy insurance for your family in order to protect them

Do not trust 100% on Government Hospital although it's cheap

Health is important, so exercise more and eat more healthy food

lastly, Family is important

But, i still seldom back home accompany my family and visit my "Ah Na", because of my assignments and examination. Sorry "Ah Na", "Lothia", Mom and Dad!!! I'll be home soon!!! >_<

My life as an Aikidoka~

I hope one day i can flip like that.... =(

Literally, "Aikidoka" means those who practise Aikido. Yes... i'm an Aikidoka =) I started to learn early this year by joining the Aikido Club in UTAR (University Tunku Abdul Rahman) because of my curios about the martial art. So, some of my friends and i joined the club and started to practicing.

So, when the day of first training for the semester comes, me and my friends went for it. We were late, and some of the senior students already doing some warm ups. After warm up, we were to sit on our kneel form, we call it seiza, and the sensei (teacher) walks on the mat and we bow.

Then, sensei call us do kamae (basic standing). At first, me n my friends donno what it is, so we just follow the seniors, and stand like this,

with that standing, sensei want us hold that position for 2 minutes. I thought it would be easy, so i keep my hand up... and after just 30 seconds, my hand started to get tired, and i whispered with my friend,

Me: why are we doing this har?

Friend: donno...

Me: my hand getting tired...
Friend: me too...

Me: Knees aching... Muscle tensing... Finger numbing...
Seniors: Shhhhhhhhhhhh.......
Sensei: (laugh out loud)

So after that, we learn kihon dosa, 6 basic movement of Yoshinkan Aikido. From the 6 basic movement, it can convert to 150 basic techniques. From the 150 different basic techniques, it can become 3000+ combination techniques.... man... this is long long journey for me -_-"

After back home, i can't control myself locking my other house mates' hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder because it's already a habit and i need to learn how the techniques work, so,

Me: Hui Jin... come here a while...
Hui Jin (My roommate): (walk towards me) what?

Me: (lock his wrist...)
Hui Jin: Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha! Now, all my house mates and friends scare of me when i put my hand on them... =)

That's how i've began my Aikido life, now i'm already learn it for almost a year, and the route to my black belt is only half way. There's still many things to be learn, many things to be tell, many things to be watch, i hope i won't give up with it because i really love this martial art and my dojo's family. Osu!!!

Just finish my exam~

Sorry guys for not updating these recent days because i'm having my final exam for this semester. So, need to study and study and study.... because i need to get back to my 2nd upper class degree. >_<

My exam went smooth but still don't know will be smooth like what i estimated, hope it goes well when the lecturers marking the papers (God... i beg you....please...help me...) So, pray for me.....

I always had my last minutes revision before the testing day, i seldom touch the notes until the exam dates are 1 day before the exam. Haih... hope i can change my lazy temper next semester and try to attend the classes next semester. Not only that, i need to do revision often because i don't want my friends say i was lucky because i got them to sign for my attendance, if not.. i'll be banned from exam -_-" i will try to get rid this bad attitude of mine just for the sake of my CGPA haha!

Enough for now.... i'll have more time to blog more after these day. Ciao!!

The Beginning of My Blog~

Hi, Sorry for waiting so long to start writing in this blog because i totally donno how to start this kind of stuff. =) i donno want to write what about my life, there's too many like: my simple and bored life that repeating the same old things that a usual person had =p , my aikido life, my love story, or even my stupid and embarrass things that happened to me~ haha! I will try to update and blog more about my life in this blog, hopefully all of them.

Actually i blogged before in another forum few years ago (don't remember when already, cos it's a very very old time, i think 5 or 6 years ago), that's the 1st time i'm introduced in such a fun and interesting thing. At 1st, i thought it was like a diary "thingy" that invented for internet user, but later on i found it very different with diary, because Diary usually doesn't let other people except the writer him or herself to see or memorize the things happened in their life each day. But, Blog is different, everybody that surf internet can read through your post, and comment to your blog. Even some blogs can drag flames from people around the world and even get "sued" from the Government or the political sector. Haha! That's kinda funny to me cos i thought blog is to allow us to freely point out our view and opinion to certain issue that happening in country and around the world. There's no wrong to shout out freely with our view, everybody have the right to talk in this world, even newborn baby also have the right to "ahh ahh ahh" although we donno what they talking about. (Maybe they already want to shout out their opinion haha!)

Nah... I not saying that i'm going to flame the political section or what, just commenting my opinion about some issue that happened like the famous NAMEWEE case. But, if i got something to say it i sure wont hesitate to say it, so maybe you see my face, on the newspaper in the future?????? (Hear 1st ah... haha!)

Hmm... I wonder why myself want to start blog back after so much years, me myself also do not know. Just few months ago when i start watch some famous Malaysian Blog, especially KennySia.com , i amazed myself that i had the time to read all of his post during my mid-term examination that will determine my CGPA to reach back 3.00!! but luckily, my coursework mark still OK thanks to my helpful classmates that always helped me on my attendance =) and teach me those lessons that taught in the lectures i didn't attended (actually.... it's me donwan go only cos always woke up late. hehe =p) So, it inspired me to start blogging again. So, i've created this blog to start blogging, but i hit a dead end... i donno how to begin... i'm sure lot of bloggers also had a harsh time on beginning. If stop then it will be the end of the blog (man... just a few minutes to create and to end a blog >_<), that's why after created i totally stopped cos can't think of one thing to write about.

And then passed another 2 months after my blog created, adding a chatbox on the sidebar but without any post... but why i'm blogging now? just a few minutes ago, i think just "cincai" (simply) write something and post it up, and write har write har.... already 4th paragraph >_<" hmm... i think this is a good start for this blog... anyway, now i'm just lacking a digital camera to take my life photos (or the photos of my life?... same meaning...) so after i have it, it will be more photos coming to this blog. i think i'm gonna stop here, cos i need start study for my exam coming next tuesday. I will try post more on this blog and keep the blog alive. Ciao!!!
